LA CONSTITUTION :

What is she really? Does it define us forever?

The five fundamental cosmic elements manifest in the human body in different proportions according to each individual by combining and expressing themselves through the Doshas. This is what makes the constitution or Prakruti. Prakruti means nature or first creation in Sanskrit.
Thus each individual has a unique constitution, determined at the time of conception by the state of the body of the mother and the father.
There are seven major types of constitution with infinite variation for each type:
-        Mono doshic constitution (one dosha is very predominant) – Vata type – Pitta type – Kapha type
-        Bi-doshic constitution (two doshas are predominant) – Vata/Pitta type – Vata-Kapha type – Pitta/Kapha type
-        Tri-doshic constitution (the three doshas are present in equivalent proportions) Vata-Pitta-Kapha type.
The doshas govern all biological, physical and pathophysiological functions of the body, mind and consciousness.
Although each individual is unique, studies have shown a series of metabolic tendencies that determine how the body and mind instinctively react when confronted with a stimulus. Similarly, major physical traits, at the level of biological functioning or at the mental level have been identified (you will find the details here).
Our constitution remains unchanged throughout our lives. This is why, knowing your body and your mind better allows you, on the one hand, not to feel guilty about your food preferences, or even your character traits, and on the other hand, to apply certain changes in our mode. of life to help our body minimize the influence of our doshas.
Indeed, throughout our lives, there is an interaction between the external environment and the internal environment. The two will tend to balance each other out. But this “fluctuating balance” may not correspond to your “basic balance”, to your Prakruti. In that case, your Prakruti will be out of balance, which is called a Vikruti, and disease will be the consequence.
Ayurveda teaches us that where there is harmony there is health while where there is disharmony there is disease.
Knowing your constitution means having the possibility of learning to adjust it so as not to be affected by its deformations. It's learning to avoid health imbalances and better treat them as soon as they appear to stay healthy.
Each person has the capacity to be in perfect health because the latter is the result of a harmonious life, in accordance with our Prakruti. This is the natural state of our body.
The role of a practitioner in Ayurveda is to help people know their Prakruti and create a harmonious environment. In case of imbalance, its role is to support the work of nature that is at work in the patient.
Thus, Ayurveda is the path of harmony so that health can return.
